So I stopped at the west end Nissan dealer to pick up some weekend supplies, oil filters specifically. While I was chatting with the parts guys, they asked me what they were for. I starting rapping aboot the old style 60U filters for the now antique 300ZX and the older guy said: "Oh yeah, those were the grey ones, right?" Yup, yup yup, replaced them with the blue 55Y's uh huh. So they get my parts, I pay and leave.
Exhibit A:
Sitting out in the parking lot in the Frontier, I'm just getting ready to back out, when I see the older parts guy wandering over to me carrying something. I roll down the window, and he presents me with two 60U filters! "Here", he says, "I found these in the back. They're not in inventory anymore, we can't sell them. Take them"
Crap!
So of course, what's my first question? "You got any more back there?!?" He laughed. "Nope, that's it"
